The Time to Play Holiday Showcase
introduced its Most Wanted List
for toys at the NYC event.

Time to Play magazine’s 2011 Holiday Showcase featured over 35 toy manufacturers, including Hasbro, Disney, Lego, Mattel, and more. The NYC event introduced the hottest new toys to journalists, writers, and bloggers covering the toy industry.
At the press event, Time to Play announced its
Most Wanted toys list for the holidays. The magazine reviewed hundreds of toys to compile the list, many which were exhibited at the event. A prominent trend this season included technology-based toys, especially those configured for use with iPads. Value-based toys rose to the top of the list – defined not just in monetary terms, but also via play and reuse value.
I visited every table at the event, and listed below are highlights from the Holiday Showcase.
Technology-Based Toys
