For those who want to try it at home, it’s super easy to make with only
four ingredients and no special ice cream maker machines required. Here’s the
recipe…enjoy!
SOY SAUCE ICE
CREAM
- 3 eggs, separated
- tablespoons brown sugar, divided
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Set out 3 bowls. In the first bowl, place 3 egg whites and 2
tablespoons brown sugar. Whip egg whites with brown sugar until it peaks. In
the second bowl, pour in heavy cream and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Whip
heavy cream and brown sugar until it peaks. In the third bowl, add 3 egg yolks,
1 tablespoon brown sugar, soy sauce and then stir to combine. Combine
whipped egg whites to the whipped heavy cream, and then mix thoroughly with the
egg yolk mixture. Freeze until firm in a freezer safe container.

Thanks for the recipe! I would have never thought of it a soy sauce ice-cream.
