Bitsy’s Brainfood Organic Cookies Packed with Fruits and Veggies

Disclosure: I received samples to assess for this post. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

Bitsy’s Brainfood was started by two new moms who know what it’s like to get little ones to eat their fruits and veggies. They shared a simple belief — that healthy bodies and healthy minds are connected, and that learning to eat smart should be fun.

Together they created Bitsy’s Brainfood to make even snack time a fun learning experience while packing in nutrition. Kids love the letter-shaped cookies, and parents love that these snacks are made with all natural organic ingredients and real fruits and veggies.

Bitsy’s Brainfood is an excellent source of Omega-3 DHA+EPA, vitamins A, B12, D3 and folic acid. It’s also a good source of calcium, iron and whole grains. There are no GMO’s, preservatives, trans fats, artificial colors or flavors.

My family tried out all four flavors: Zucchini Gingerbread Carrot, Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin, Orange Chocolate Beet and Lemon Broccoli.

Of course I did not tell my preschooler that there were veggies inside. She happily ate them. In fact, my husband and I really enjoyed their delicious taste of all four of these flavors.

We also used these cookies as learning opportunities. We’d ask her which letter each cookie was before she ate them. She had fun spelling out her name with the cookies. This is the kind of kid’s snack I can feel good about.

As a bonus there’s even a collectible sticker inside each package. Fun, character-inspired packaging makes these even more kid-friendly.

Bitsy’s Brainfood is available for $2.49-2.79 per box at Wegmans, Diapers.com, FreshDirect, and Abe’s Market. For more information, please visit www.bitsysbrainfood.com.
