Disclosure: I received a GoGo squeeZ party kit. All opinions are my own.
Watching the big game together not only entertains but also provides bonding time for families. Whether or not your kids understand football, it’s always fun to get pumped up for a big event. GoGo squeeZ, the company producing applesauce and yogurts for on-the-go kids, has you covered for the big game with fun activities and healthy snacks.
GoGo squeeZ sent me a squeeZ Bowl Kit packed with goodies such as GoGo squeeZ Applesauce and YogurtZ, tattoos, football toys, and a party booklet with lots of fun ideas. You can access your own version through GoGo squeeZ’s free online Ultimate squeeZ Bowl Party Kit. I’ve highlighted some of the cool things below.
Football-themed Pouch Covers
Make your kids’ GoGo squeeZ snacks extra special with football-themed pouch covers. I like to surprise my kids by placing one of these covered pouches in their lunchboxes. They love the surprise, and it makes for a great conversation piece with their friends at lunchtime. My kids also “play football” with the pouches. Each kid has a pouch on an opposing team and they try to tackle the toy football. With some imagination, anything is possible! Simply print, cut, and tape the cover over a pouch. Let the Countdown Begin
Get kids excited for the big game with this fun activity. Count down to the big day with this football-themed paper chain. Each day kids can take away one of the rings until there’s only one left, which means game day has arrived! If you have young kids, it’s also a great way to reinforce counting. When we made our rings, I cut out and mixed up the paper strips which were numbered. I then asked my daughter to find #1, #2, and so forth. She had fun finding and connecting the rings. During the game, try playing football bingo. Print a few of these bingo cards. Use GoGo squeeZ pouch caps as bingo markers. While watching the game, mark boxes with the cap as events occur. Examples of bingo boxes include, “Touchdown,” “Punt,” “Penalty,” and “Fourth Down.” If some kids don’t understand these football terms, an adult can call them out as they occur.
GoGo squeeZ Pouch Snacks
Give kids healthy options to snack on during the game. GoGo squeez applesauce and yogurtZ are 100% natural and gluten-free with no preservatives. They’re free of the top 8 most common allergens and use BPA-free packaging. They’re also mess-free, too – ideal for eating on the couch while watching the game!
It’s not a party without dip, and GoGo squeeZ offers a healthy and delicious fruity option. Simply mix a GoGo squeeZ Banana YogurtZ with a few tablespoons of nut or seed butter. Mix until well-combined and smooth. This fruity dip pairs well with many foods such as apples and strawberries.
Encourage kids to eat healthy snacks by creating a fun Veggie Touchdown tray. Create the football shape by using peeled baby carrots outlined with cherry tomatoes. Create the “stitching” on the football using white cheese cut into strips. For the “grass” that surrounds the football, cut up green vegetables such as broccoli or asparagus. Try dipping the veggies in the YogurtZ Dip mentioned above for a fruity twist.
