Shower Diffuser – The World’s First and How It Works

If you’ve followed my blog, you’ve read how I started using essential oils and how my family has benefitted from them. I have diffusers in many rooms in my house – the kitchen and all of our bedrooms. Diffusing essential oils lets us utilize their most obvious feature – the scent. Using essential oils in the shower not only creates an aromatic spa-like atmosphere, but alsp allows me to experience the health benefits associated with essential oils.

How to Set Up Your Shower Diffuser
You can use any brand of essential oils in this shower diffuser. It fits 5 ml, 10 ml, and 15 ml bottles and can hold two bottles at once. It’s super easy to install and runs on three AA batteries (not included).
1. After inserting the batteries, place the wall mount on a clean, dry surface in your shower. Simply remove the gel cover and place the wall mount at shoulder level on your shower wall. Make sure to avoid placing it over grout lines.
2. Slide the shower diffuser onto the mount by lining up the tracks on the back of the diffuser with the wall mount tracks.
3. Choose two essential oil bottles. I used Lime and Rosemary because I happened to have extra bottles on hand, but you can use any scent. Remove the plastic drip guard from the top. I have a little metal device that helps me do this, but if you don’t have one, you can use a butter knife to gently pry between the bottle and the drip guard.
4. Insert one wick into the center of the seal (several are included in the box). The wicks are sized for 15 ml bottles, so if you’re using smaller bottles you’ll have to cut the wick down to size. Insert the wick and seal into the bottle.
5. Screw the bottles into the ports on the shower diffuser until they’re locked into place. The shower diffuser includes airflow vents, one above each bottle, that you can open and close. This gives you the option to diffuse either just one bottle or both simultaneously.
6. To turn on, press the power button in the center which turns blue while in use. The shower diffuser will run for 8 minutes. If you take showers longer than that, simply press the power button again to turn it on for another 8 minutes.
My Assessment of the Shower Diffuser
The shower diffuser was quick and easy to set up. Using it was even easier. While taking a shower I could smell the essential oils as they were being diffused. It was very relaxing to experience these scents which the steam from the shower seemed to enhance.
On a side note, this shower diffuser includes a lifetime warranty. Most products nowadays don’t offer a warranty for this long, so I definitely appreciated this feature.
